The state swim championships have been moved yet again due to the snow. The NJSIAA announced that all eight state swimming championship meets, including the Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys' and girls' Group A finals, will be held on Wednesday, February 25, at the Neptune Aquatic Center. The Bridgewater-Raritan boys' and girls' Group A state championships will be decided in a double dual starting at 8:30 a.m. Bridgewater-Raritan will swim against Hillsborough High School in the boys' Group A state final, and the Bridgewater-Raritan girls will go against Cherry Hill High School East in the Group A state championship meet. The state finals were initially scheduled for Sunday, February 22, at Rutgers University and then shifted to Thursday, February 26, at the Neptune Aquatic Center. 8:30 am – Boys Group A: Hillsborough vs Bridgewater-Raritan
· 8:30 am – Girls Group A: Cherry Hill East vs Bridgewater-Raritan
· 11 am – Boys Non-Public: Delbarton vs St. Augustine
· 11 am – Girls Non-Public: Trinity Hall vs Pingry
· 1:30 pm – Boys Group C: Mendham vs Haddonfield
· 1:30 pm – Girls Group C: Mountain Lakes vs Haddonfield
· 4 pm – Boys Group B: Moorestown vs Chatham
· 4 pm – Girls Group B: Shawnee vs Chatham
Due to the impending snowstorm, the NJSIAA announced on Friday, February 20, that the Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys' and girls' swim teams will compete in a double dual at 9 a.m., when the Group A state championship meets are held Sunday, February 22, at Rutgers University. The boys' state final between Bridgewater-Raritan and Hillsborough High School will remain as scheduled for 9 a.m., but the girls' state final between Bridgewater-Raritan and Cherry Hill High School East will move from its original 10:30 a.m. slot to 9 a.m.The NJSIAA made this decision to complete the state championships before the snow's expected arrival in the afternoon. Four Bridgewater-Raritan High School art students received Gold Key honors when the Scholastic Art Awards were announced recently by the Appel Farm Arts & Music Center, in partnership with the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The Appel Farm Arts & Music Center is located in Salem County’s Upper Pittsgrove Township. The four Bridgewater-Raritan art students who received the Scholastic Art Awards Gold Key honors were Lucia Bolle for “Acceptance”, Nayell Esquivel for “Obligate Parasite”, Suzanne Lu for “Lao-Lao’s Rosary,” and Julia Li for “What’s Cooking?”




SAVE THE DATE! - BRHS 8th Grade Parent Orientation
Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 6pm in the High School Auditorium.
The orientation will provide parents and guardians with information about the high school that will assist them in completing the scheduling process for incoming freshman. This program is designed for parents or guardians only. Student orientation will be in August.
