The game will start at 3:15 p.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark.
The bus carrying the players and coaches, as well as reporters, left from behind the high school at 1:10 this afternoon and followed a Bridgewater Township Police cruiser and a Somerset County Sheriff’s vehicle while students and staff cheered their departure to Newark.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School will play for an ice hockey state championship. Bridgewater-Raritan, ranked 11th in the state, defeated 18th-ranked Middletown High School North, 5-2, in the South Public state sectional final on Thursday, March 5, at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township. Bridgewater-Raritan will meet the North sectional winner, 13th-ranked Ridgewood High School, in the Public state championship game on Monday, March 9, at 3:15 p.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark. Bridgewater-Raritan improved to 22-3-1, and Middletown North fell to 15-7-2.


The Bridgewater-Raritan High School's Unified Basketball Team's state tournament sectional quarterfinal game with Sparta High School has been postponed until Thursday, March 5, at 3:45 p.m. in the high school's main gym. The game was scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, but Sparta had no school due to snow.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s top-seeded ice hockey team shut out fourth-seeded Ridge High School, 5 -0, in the South, Public state sectional semifinals on March 2 in Bridgewater.
Kyle Murphy, who guided Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s wrestling team to a second straight North Jersey, Section 2, Group 5 state sectional championship this winter, was named District 14 Coach of the Year on Saturday, February 28, during the District 14 tournament at South Plainfield High School. Coach Murphy led his team to a 20-9 record this year and will have seven wrestlers compete in Region 4 on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, at Union High School. He was joined in the District 14 ceremony by assistant coaches Kevin McCann, Sammy Alvarez, Ray Jazikoff and Rob Saum.

The School of Visual Arts in New York City has graciously offered BRHS Underclassmen two full tuition scholarships for their Summer 2026 Pre-College programs! Each scholarship covers full tuition and NYC housing ($5,350) for one course. Students will only be responsible for their meals and transportation. Bridgewater-Raritan High School swept the boys' and girls' Group A state swim championships on Wednesday morning, February 25, at the Neptune Aquatic Center. The top-ranked Bridgewater-Raritan boys' team defeated fourth-ranked Hillsborough High School, 108-62, and, at the same time, during the double dual, the third-ranked Bridgewater-Raritan girls' squad cruised past 10th-ranked Cherry Hill High School, 102.5-67.5.
