Three days of brilliant musical performances were capped on Thursday, March 26, by the performance of the Band Concert during the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District 2026 Festival of Arts.

The Vaughn Stapleton Gymnasium at Bridgewater-Rarian High School was again filled with a captive audience when the Band Concert ended a week of sound music.

The Festival of the Arts was launched on Tuesday, March 24, with the Choral Concert, followed on Wednesday, March 25, by the Orchestra Concert.

The Hillside Intermediate School and Eisenhower Intermediate School 6th Grade Band opened the final evening of music performances.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School 7th Grade and 8th Grade Bands and Wind Ensemble then produced splendid performances.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Concert Band and Wind Ensemble finished the evening with their splendid work.

Matt McCarthy, the Supervisor for Arts Education in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, served as the master of ceremonies, a role that he also handled during the Choral and Orchestra concerts the week of the Festival of the Arts.

“ What a spectacular evening of music. We have such a strong community of young musicians throughout this district. It is such a pleasure to experience the fruits of their hard work,” Mr. McCarthy said.

The Festival of the Arts will take a break until the Visual Art Exhibit will be displayed on Thursday, June 4, at the high school cafeteria, starting at 6 p.m.

Here are short video clips of the 6th Grade Band's performances.
