Solving a math puzzle outside on a beautiful fall day was the lesson plan of 8th Grade students at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School.
Students in 8th Grade Mathematics departed from their classrooms at the Middle School and journeyed outside to the grass area located near the entrance to the campus off Foothill Road on Monday, October 19.
It was at that area that students were able to walk on a life-size coordinate plane, created by their math teachers, in order to understand the four quadrants and plot ordered pairs.
The coordinate plane activity was brought to life by their Math Teachers, Karen D’Aloisio, Gaby Diaz, Bill Lester, DJ Scazafave, and Anthony Silva.
