The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School 8th Grade Band participated in Marching Band Night during the Homecoming football game at Basilone Memorial Field on Friday, October 2.
According to Barron Caromano, the Director of the 8th Grade Band at the Middle School, the students had the opportunity to socialize and have dinner with the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band members, and to join them in playing pep band music in the stands during the football game.
They also enjoyed watching the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band perform its halftime show. Bridgewater-Raritan High School won the football game 35-18 against Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
“ It was a well-attended event with nearly 50 8th Graders participating,” Mr. Caromano said.
