For the second year in a row, the American Heart Association presented an assembly called the Kids Heart Challenge, where students across the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District are empowered to learn hands-only CPR.

Kate Farina, a representative of the American Heart Association, presented at a student assembly held and scheduled to be held throughout the schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

On Monday, March 9, she set up an informative table to share her knowledge with students at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School. She sat at this American Heart Association table outside the school’s cafeteria during lunchtime with Dave Guglietti, the Supervisor of Health and Physical Education for the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

Ms. Farina has collaborated with the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District for two years to provide this information to students while working with our District Wellness Committee on their annual Wellness Week kick-off.

Students left the assembly with the empowering message that we are all lifesavers and taking care of ourselves is of the utmost importance.

Remember, "We can all save a life!"
