The dedication of the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School Orchestra and Band students was exhibited on Thursday, January 15.
The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School auditorium was filled with an appreciative audience who enjoyed a spectacular performance at the Winter Music Concert.
A total of seven groups played to perfection that night.
The performance was launched by the 7th Grade Orchestra under the guidance of Tim Nuzzetti, the Middle School 7th Grade Orchestra Director.
The 8th Grade Orchestra, led by its Director, Caty Butler, followed with its fine production. Ms. Butler then conducted the Chamber Orchestra’s performance,
The Jazz Ensemble opened the second half of the show after a short break and played under Barron Caromano, the Middle School 7th Grade Band Director. Mr. Caromano then conducted his 7th Grade Band’s performance,
Dr. Ashlen Udell, the 8th Grade Band Director, then led her group’s production and, following, conducted the Wind Ensemble's performance, the final presentation of the concert.
The devoted Middle School Diirectors applauded the results of months of hard work and practice.
“The concert was a fantastic celebration of the commitment and progress our music students have made since September. Seeing the community come together to support and celebrate their achievements was incredibly rewarding. I’m looking forward to an exciting second half of the year,” Dr. Udell revealed.
“I am incredibly proud of how hard the students in the 8th Grade orchestra have worked. Looking forward to the rest of the year and seeing how far they'll grow,” Ms. Butler said
