career day

Students at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School received an education on what careers are out there for them to pursue.

On Friday, March 14, Career Day was held at the Middle School, an event coordinated by Middle School Counselor Lori Macsata.

Career Day was an opportunity for 8th Graders to start thinking about what type of career they may be interested in.

Parents and community members volunteered their time to come into the Middle School to speak about their interests, careers, and the paths they took to get their chosen careers. Students began with two keynote speakers and then continued to three sessions throughout the morning.

Some of the careers highlighted were:

Airplane Pilot

Chemical Engineer

Chief Marketing Officer

Detective

Environmental Engineer

Federal Customs Officer

Lawyer

Music Agent

Pharmacist

Social Worker

State Police Officer

Technical Project Manager
