Reese Reimann has embarked on her collegiate women's soccer career at the University of Delaware.
But the scholastic awards keep rolling in for the Class of 2026 graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
Reimann, a four-year standout for Coach Sean Casey’s Bridgewater-Raritan girls’ soccer team, received notice on July 20 that she was named on the High School Soccer Scholar All-American List by the United Soccer Coaches, the national coaches association.
She was one of 10 girls' soccer players from New Jersey to be recognized for this elite award, according to Coach Casey.
During her scholastic career, Reimann, a center midfielder, was honored on the United Soccer Coaches All-American Team and was named the North Jersey Section 2 Player of the Year.
Reimann was also voted among the Top 20 players in the state for three seasons, named team MVP three times, and received Skyland Conference All-Division First Team honors for three seasons.
Reimann ended her illustrious career with 52 goals and 25 assists from her center-midfield position while she led Bridgewater-Raritan to the North Jersey Section 2, Group 4 state sectional tournament final in both her junior and senior seasons. Bridgewater-Raritan ended 14-9 this past fall.
The freshman left for Delaware on July 17 and will return to New Jersey to participate in her college’s first exhibition game, scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, at Rider University in Lawrenceville.
Coach Casey shared his thoughts about his former All-American player.
"Very few student-athletes reach this level of excellence. Earning Scholar All-American recognition speaks to her character, work ethic, and ability to balance the demands of high-level soccer with academic achievement,” Coach Casey said. “As a coaching staff, we couldn't be happier for her. We look forward to watching her grow as a person and as a player at the University of Delaware."
