The walls at Bridgewater-Raritan High School served as the canvas for National Art Honor Society Students.
National Art Honor Society students spent their Friday afternoon after school painting murals on the walls and hallways at Bridgewater-Raritan High School throughout the 2023/24 school year. In the end, three additional corridor walls boast spectacular mural paintings.
One mural outside the main gymnasium in the 100 Building highlights four Bridgewater-Raritan High School graduates who succeeded in athletics as post-graduates. Another mural in the 500, or English Building, depicts various themes from “The Great Gatsby.” Finally, a mural of a bright green jungle adorns a suite in the guidance office.
A fourth mural was painted at the Raritan Food Pantry that illustrated children playing at a park outside a town.
Thank you to all the students who participated in this endeavor and their advisor, Art Teacher Sarah Nasson, for coordinating their efforts.
