We are so lucky to have best-selling author Neal Shusterman visiting our school in November.  Any student can purchase a book and have it autographed. Forms are available in the library or from your LAL teacher. All orders are due to Mrs. Woznick in the library by Wednesday, October 30.  If you already own a book, or bought one at the book fair, please bring it to Mrs. Woznick with a post-it inside with your name and homeroom teacher's name on it.

The first meeting of the Animal Awareness Club will be Wednesday, October 16 from 2:20 until 3:30. Students planning to attend must have a signed permission slip prior to the first meeting. Stop by Mrs. Kusznier's room B7 for more information.

Attention students interested in joining stage crew. Stop by Ms. DiFazio’s room B23 this week for a permission form. Spots are limited and first come first serve.

Lost and Found items are on tables outside Cafeteria A, stop by and take a look. Items remaining this afternoon will be donated to charity.

Today is the last day of Week of Respect, but being respectful is something you should be every day. Today, thank your teachers for the great support they give you each and every day. That will make their day!

Today your challenge is to do something nice for your parents without them asking. Maybe clean your room, or put out the garbage, or just thank them for being there for you.

Since this is the Week of Respect, please try to do at least one nice thing for someone you don’t know today. You can hold the door open for someone, or buy someone a cookie at lunch, or help your teacher pass out papers. Make the effort to do something extra nice today.

Pink Day is this Friday. Be sure to get your gear while supplies last. Lunch sales for Pink Day will be today and Thursday. Make sure to stop by and remember to join us for the fight against Breast Cancer by wearing pink this Friday.

It is Thursday 7th graders: And you have an opportunity during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays to Color for a Cause, so bring your lunch to D-5 and color for one of three worthwhile charities. Just grab a bright yellow pass from outside D5. Come alone or bring a friend so you can color and bring a smile to someone else. Any questions see Ms. Henderson in D-5.
